天地起源广场，三圆三方6根石柱耸立身前，三根圆柱上分别雕刻着彝族“老虎笙”“大锣笙”和“小豹子笙”，三根方柱分别记载了昼夜与四季的起源，天地万物的起源，太阳、月亮和星辰的起源等。石雕壁画威武庄严、肃然起敬，走近一看，精美的浮雕浓缩了源远流长的双柏民族文化。英俊的彝族先祖阿普笃慕正在远古的洪荒时代拯救着自己的民族，彝族先民们跳着粗犷的“三笙”舞蹈，祈祷民族生息繁衍、繁荣发展。

Plaza of World Origin

Six stone columns, three circular Ａnd three square, stand in front of the Plaza of World Origin. On the three circular columns are carvings of the “tiger sheng,” “big gong sheng” Ａnd “small leopard sheng” traditional dances of the Yi people, while the three square columns depict the origin of day Ａnd night, the origin of the four seasons, the origin of all things between heaven Ａnd earth, the origin of the sun, moon Ａnd stars, Ａnd other elements. The carved stone murals are majestic Ａnd magnificent, Ａnd Ｆrom up close one could see how the intricate reliefs illustrate the quintessences of the time-honored culture of the people of Shuangbai. The handsome Apu Dumu, the forefather of the Yi people, is saving his people in the prehistoric era, Ａnd the ancient Yi people are performing the three bold Ａnd unconstrained “sheng” dances as a way to pray for the prolificness Ａnd prosperity of their race.
